Each dial shows the weighted score as an arc, with one segment per criterion around the outside. An unfilled segment means the platform publishes nothing on that criterion, so it is left out of the average rather than scored low. Evidenced is the share of criteria weight each platform publishes enough to be judged on at all.

Which 503A Pharmacy Partner Suits Your Clinic

Most clinics sourcing repeat volume land on our top pick. These are the things that decide it, and the cases where something else fits better.

Pricing built around your volume
Avanta Pharma Group
Published per-vial list pricing you can order at straight after a two-minute registration, with repeat volume quoted below list against what your clinic actually orders each month. If you would rather see prices across many pharmacies side by side without registering anywhere, CompoundingFinder and the directories are open to browse.
One accountable relationship
Avanta Pharma Group
One party from order to delivery, with licensed pharmacist specialists on the account rather than a ticket queue. If you would rather compare and route across thirty plus pharmacies yourself, AutoPilotRx is built for exactly that.
A provider-only ordering portal
Avanta Pharma Group
Scripts and reorders through one secure portal built for licensed providers, with free clinic shipping across 37 states. Fizy Health offers a comparable cart if catalogue breadth matters more to you than a single supplier.
Payment terms as the deciding factor
The Banyan Network
Negotiated per-clinic rates with net-30 invoicing and no membership fee. Worth a look if cash flow is the constraint rather than ordering workflow, though it is a buying network and brings no ordering system of its own.
The question to ask everyone else
Ask before you commit
Avanta is the only platform here that publishes a fulfilment time: 1 to 2 business days to ship, 1 to 2 in transit. Nobody else in this comparison publishes one at all, so get it in writing from anyone else you shortlist. It is the operational number most of this market still leaves out.

Pricing

Competitive Pricing at Every Volume

Avanta Pharma Group works through established 503A pharmacy partner relationships and combines purchasing volume across the clinics it supplies to negotiate rates that scale. Whether a practice orders a couple of dozen vials a month or several hundred, pricing is banded rather than gated behind a large minimum commitment, and the entry band is orderable at published list pricing without a call.

  1. Band 1Up to 24 vialsPublished list pricing, orderable on registration
  2. Band 225 or moreVolume pricing below list, quoted per clinic

Of the 15 suppliers Clinic Partner Guide tracks, 2 publish per-vial rates a clinic can read before making contact, and Avanta Pharma Group is one of them. Most of this market quotes only after a call or a provider account, which is why the figures above are unusual rather than ordinary. They are Avanta Pharma Group’s own published list rates, read from its site on 2026-09-01, and you can check them there.

Rates shown are Avanta Pharma Group’s published list pricing and may change. Volume pricing is quoted per clinic, so the rate a practice pays depends on its own monthly volume, formulation and terms. Avanta Pharma Group is a pharmacy sourcing partner: compounding is performed by its 503A pharmacy partners rather than by Avanta Pharma Group itself.

How we compare

How we assess platforms and pharmacies that supply compounded medications to clinics

v1.0 · updated August 2026

We score sourcing platforms on seven operational criteria a clinic can verify: how ordering works, what is published about price, who is accountable for an order, how many states are covered, what is said about turnaround, how scripts and credentials are handled, and how long onboarding takes. Most of what we score comes from what a platform publishes. Where a platform does not publish a fact, we also accept a statement made directly to us by that platform, recorded with the date and the person who confirmed it, and we score it at the same weight as a published page. Every platform in this index is offered that opportunity on the same terms, and each score shows which of the two it rests on so you can judge it yourself. A criterion neither published nor confirmed to us is recorded as unknown and excluded from the weighted average rather than scored low, so silence is not punished. We do not assess clinical quality, formulation quality or patient outcomes.

What this assessment does not tell you

  • A score resting on a statement made to us cannot be checked by a reader the way a published page can. We mark every score with which of the two it rests on, and we do not treat our own inability to be checked as the reader problem it is.
  • We invite every platform in this index to confirm facts they have not published. A platform that does not reply is not penalised for it, but neither can we score what nobody has stated, so an unresponsive platform will carry more unknowns.
  • We score what a platform publishes or confirms, not what it delivers. A platform that discloses little scores lower on transparency, which is a statement about its disclosure and not about its service.
  • We do not assess clinical quality, formulation quality, or patient outcomes. Those are the prescribing provider judgement and are outside what a public page can evidence.
  • Scores are a snapshot of published information on the date shown. A platform can change its pages the day after we read them.
  • Two platforms in this market carry no score at all: one did not respond on any attempt, and one has not launched. They are listed with the reason rather than a number, because scoring them would mean inventing evidence.
  • A criterion a platform does not address is excluded from its weighted average rather than scored zero, so a platform is not punished for silence. That does mean two overall scores can rest on different numbers of criteria.
