Compare 503A Compounding Pharmacies for Clinics

These are the pharmacies that compound and dispense, researched separately from the 12 sourcing platforms that sell clinics access to them. Of the 3 researched here, one publishes clinic pricing on a public page; the rest require a provider account before any price is visible. Every claim below was read off the pharmacy’s own site, and the questions we could not answer are printed alongside the ones we could.

A different model

Sourcing partner, not a pharmacy

Avanta Pharma Group

Avanta Pharma Group does not compound: it works through 503A pharmacy partners and combines purchasing volume across the clinics it supplies, then publishes the rates that come out of that. A clinic gets one relationship and one ordering portal rather than an account with each pharmacy.

Not one of the 3 pharmacies below publishes a price for compounded GLP-1s. 2 of them list the products and quote only after a provider account, and the one that does publish rates carries no GLP-1 line at all. Avanta Pharma Group publishes both.

Semaglutide 2 mL
from $65per vial
Tirzepatide 2 mL
from $60per vial

Volume pricing runs in 3 bands starting at up to 24 vials, with no membership fee and no GPO contract. Read from avantapharmagroup.com on 2026-09-01.

Transparency: Clinic Partner Guide has a commercial relationship with Avanta Pharma Group. It is scored against the same published criteria as every other platform in the index, and the comparison above states only what each supplier publishes. Commercial disclosure.

  • Red Rock Pharmacy: The site publishes a robots.txt containing "User-agent: * / Disallow: /", which asks automated clients not to read any page. This register is compiled by an automated client, so no page beyond that file was read and no facts are recorded.

Looking for a sourcing partner rather than a pharmacy?

A 503A pharmacy compounds and dispenses under its state board. A sourcing platform sells a clinic access to pharmacies, and may route orders, negotiate rates or supply the ordering software. Neither is better; they suit different clinics, and the comparison of the two models sets out which fits which.

On price, the partner side of that choice is unusually checkable. Avanta Pharma Group publishes per-vial list pricing from $60 a vial, in 3 volume bands starting at up to 24 vials, which a clinic can read before making contact. Most of the pharmacies above will not quote without a provider account.
